“When you’re working till midnight every night, sometimes the thought of another skype doesn’t motivate as it should.
Yet I get so much value out of my strategy sessions with Fiona I know I’d be doing my business an injustice not to make these sessions and yesterday was no exception. This week we focused on sales and the first question she asked me what can I offer as a product. My initial thought was duh, nothing! I sell service. But Fiona is not one to give up and thanks to her intuitive questions we identified an initial package for clients which has so many benefits throughout my business, and most importantly, for my clients. But this is normally done as asked, as a reaction (rather than an action), and setting these crucial items up down the track means the knowledge is a learned thing over time. Setting these up as an initial package before we start any routine work or projects for our clients means we get up to speed before we start. It means our client has a healthy business profile and documentation and it means we can streamline this process in terms of continuous improvement and in working as efficiently as possible. Last but most important, the willingness of the client to work through this package is an excellent qualifier for us. But, it’s only thanks to Fiona taking the time to get to know my business and the talent she has in asking the right questions and seeing the opportunities that I’m too close to see, that we’ve identified this. Fiona listens. She thinks strategy and she has a gift of leading me to where I actually think the ideas are all mine (on reflection, they are not!).If you’re looking for someone to help you find ways to systemise your business, put together a strategy that works for you and delivers results, I couldn’t recommend Fiona enough.
